How do we build and sustain a successful business?
with Marcus Blackmore

Award-winning captain of industry guides local small business towards success

Marcus Blackmore, Chairman of Blackmores Ltd and recipient of many corporate and community honours, is the guest speaker at Pittwater Business Limited’s (PBL) June 17 breakfast seminar to be held at Bayview Golf Club. His topic: "How do we build and sustain a successful business" will draw on his experience of managing and growing a corporation which has been an industry leader in Australia for more than 70 years.

Blackmores Ltd recently relocated from Brookvale to a purpose-built complex in Pittwater at Warriewood. To celebrate the new premises, a gala open day was held for the people of Pittwater reinforcing the company’s commitment to demonstrate care, respect and compassion for its people and the broader community.

Marcus Blackmore is a keen yachtsman and past Australian Farr 40 champion yachtsman; he also saw service as a 2nd Lieutenant with the Australian Army RAE in Vietnam. He has been both part of a team as well as a leader outside of the corporate world, experience which serves him well in steering an organisation with more than 400 employees in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
