Author, speaker and stand-up comic, Marty Wilson, interviewed more than four hundred inspirational people from all over the world, got them talking about what worked and what didn’t and what were the things that really mattered. The result is his best-selling What I Wish I Knew book series. Drawing on that experience, he says there are seven tips to succeeding in business and life that people bring up again and again.

If change is a form of currency, Marty Wilson has been a very greedy boy indeed. His enthusiasm for breaking new ground has led him to successfully enter a number of industries: he was a pharmacist who became an award-winning copywriter; he then worked for eight years in the United Kingdom as a full-time stand-up comic, ultimately doing the Edinburgh and Melbourne Comedy Festivals to huge acclaim; he also wrote his own wine column. He is still a stand-up comic, has a regular column in Reader’s Digest, is the author of the bestselling What I Wish I Knew book series and a professional speaker who is helping people and corporations embrace change and become more engaged at work.

As Pittwater Business Limited celebrates its 5th Anniversary in May we wanted our next breakfast seminar to be a celebratory event.  “Marty uses humour to short circuit people’s resistance to new ideas and sneaks into his presentations powerful thoughts about change, collaboration and employee engagement,” said PBL chairperson, Shayna Price.  “He’s the ideal person to add fun while imparting knowledge at our birthday festivities.”
