Andrew Blunden CA, BComm, FEI

Andrew Blunden is the Managing Director and founder of Part Time Professionals , and is also a Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent.
Originally commencing with Ernst & Young in 1983, Andrew has held roles as Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary and Director with both publicly listed and privately owned organisations.
He has held executive positions with such companies as Sonic Healthcare Ltd, Computershare Ltd, Lan Systems Pty Ltd and Serco Australia Ltd.
Andrew initially wrote to Pittwater Council in early 2005 recommending the establishment of a Pittwater-wide business association.
From this, Pittwater Business Limited was born.
A resident of Clareville, Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Newcastle University), a Corporate Directors Diploma (University of New England) and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Financial Executives International. |

Richard Morgan MA MAICD JP

Richard Morgan is a management consultant in the not-for-profit sector through
his company Abercrombie & Morgan Pty Ltd based in Collaroy. His current
clients have a national focus and include the Constitution Education Fund
Australia, Opera Foundation Australia and Moran Arts Foundation. Richard has
over 27 years experience as an institutional leader in museums and education
with a wide range of board experience in the n-f-p sector including directorships
in arts administration, tourism and heritage.
Richard also brings two decades of experience in education to the PBL board.
From 2004 to 2010 Richard was principal and CEO of The Pittwater House
Schools, an independent “twin schools” for boys and girls at Collaroy. During that
period he joined PBL in its first year of operation and has been a member of the
Board of Directors since 2007 and was our Chairman in 2008.
Richard has qualifications from the University of Sydney in Arts and Museum
Studies and a Diploma in Outdoor Education under the Australian Quality
Training Framework. Richard has been a part-time Officer of Cadets since 1978
and currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Australian Army
Cadets.
He has been recognised by the Australian Government for his service to the
community with the award if the Centenary of Federation Medal.

Mr Keith Ralfs

Keith Ralfs has been an avid supporter of PBL since before its
foundation and proudly serves as a Board Member and Director
Keith a professional Marine Engineer, after leaving the Australian
National Line in 1986, founded and continues to operate Austral
Oceanic Services Pty Ltd, undertaking Maritime Engineering and Naval
Architecture Consultancy Projects around the World.
Keith also founded the public beneficiary organisation, The Greenwig
Foundation, for which Rotary awarded him "Social Entrepreneur of the
year 2005" in recognition of his work with Youth and with
dis-advantaged Women in the Sudan.
In 2008 he co-founded and is Technical Director of the alternative
energy development company V1 Energy Pty Ltd.
Keith's ambition is to see local communities grow and prosper as self
sustaining cooperatives, in a spirit of mutual well-being.

Ms Shayna Price (Chairman)

Shayna Price is a Director of Style Communications, a full service print and design shop in Mona Vale. Style
has been in operation for 22 years, of which Shayna has been involved in for 11 of those years, becoming a coowner
and director in 2007.
With her completed studies in Marketing she continues to fulfil the original ideas of their business philosophy
leading the company into a new generation of digital print bureau where "quality print, low prices and 22 years
experience" is the reflective state.
As a Pittwater local since childhood, Shayna has encouraged the development of Pittwater Business Limited
since its inception both as a major sponsor and as a key marketing resource for the organisation. She now
looks forward to assisting Pittwater Business the capacity of director to further the success of all local
businesses in our area.

Ms Gail Fitzpatrick

Gail is currently the manager of Bendigo & Adelaide Bank Limited at Belrose. She has had 32 years
experience in retail banking. Commencing with the Rural Bank, which became Colonial/State and then the
Commonwealth Bank, Gail then joined St George Bank for a short period of time.
Gail joined Bendigo & Adelaide Bank Limited in 2005 and represents this sponsor on the Board.
Gail has been a member Of Pittwater Business Limited since its foundation. A true Pittwater resident she has
always lived at Newport and Avalon and is keen to assist businesses in Sydney’s northern beaches.

Mark Barrett is the Director of CIMarketing, a marketing agency located in Brookvale.
CIMarketing specialises in strategic marketing for smalll-medium sized
companies. CIMarketing services many clients in the Pittwater catchment helping them to generate more
business with offline and online strategies.
Mark has completed a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Marketing, and has in the past worked alongside the
best at Sydney's top marketing agencies. Most recently, Mark held the position of Marketing Manager for
SPOS, a leading point-of-sale display company.

Mr Peter Lever CA

A Chartered Accountant. Peter joined Northstar Accountants in 2003 as a Client Manager responsible for
the taxation and accounting compliance for a range of small to medium business and individual clients.
In January 2006 he became a partner in the business.
Since this time he has developed a diverse client base primarily based on the Northern Beaches. His clients
include service based industry such as commercial fit out and design, IT specialists and software & web
developers, solicitors, business and management coaching, natural therapy practitioners, training
companies, licensed builders, plumbers and electricians; importers and wholesalers; manufacturing
(clothing industry); property developers; and a number of property and share investors.
Peter advises and assists his clients in a range of matters from mandatory accounting and taxation
compliance, assisting with setup of accounting systems, cashflow and forecasting, management reporting,
business structuring and restructuring, transactional taxation advice, and general business advice.
Peter is also responsible for the internal financial control of Northstar. |

Brian Maguire is a successful Mentor, Business Coach and Professional Speaker.
A Chartered Accountant by profession, Brian trained with KPMG and has had many years senior financial
& commercial management experience with companies such as Pacific Dunlop, Reil Corp and Orica. Since
1994, Brian has also been involved in small-medium business.
In his current business, Absolute Clarity Communications, Brian has earned a reputation as a Business
Coach that gets great results for his clients. Absolute Clarity was formed in 2001 to make available to the
small and medium business sector the knowledge, skills and technologies that help businesses grow and
prosper. Brian is a founding member of the International Association of Coaches and is the Deputy
President of the International Coaching Federation NSW Chapter.
Brian is an accomplished MC and runs regular workshops and seminars for business-owners on the
Northern Beaches. He also develops and presents business programmes for some of Australia’s largest
companies including Westpac, Westfield, St George Bank, Abbott Laboratories and others. Brian has
always had a passion for people and business. His experience over the years has given him great insight
into what makes a business grow and why.

Mr Jeff Banks

Jeff started in the firm Ruwald & Evans – Chartered Accountants in 1977 as he tells it he came down from the country for a party in January of that year and never went home.
In 1988 he was seconded to Waller & Co (later Waller Banks & Co) as a full partner and in 1990 struck out on his own trading as initially JW Banks & Associates and later Jeff Banks Management & Taxation Consultant and now the principal of Banks Consultancy. Jeff has a degree in Business Studies (Sturt University formerly Mitchell CAE), a diploma in Accounting and has been a registered tax agent since 1983.
Jeff’s experience over many years in the issues of individuals and small/medium business makes him acutely aware of their needs. This coupled with his empathy for all allows him to converse at all levels instilling a level of confidence in clients’ dealings with the Australian Taxation Office. |
